Spring Report

Trend Report for Spring 2011

Spring seems to be taking forever to come into view here in western Canada, and we can blame that on the planetary patterns with Saturn as a key factor!  I am not surprised that our weather forecasters are talking about a later and colder Spring than usual.  Saturn seems to delay everything and when it shows up, colder weather trails right along.  Keep warm and dry somehow!

Even though Saturn is opposite Jupiter on March 28th - delaying the positivity we all need - this is only a speed bump - so just wait.

On March 30th, Mercury goes Retrograde in Aries until April 22nd.  Keep your eyes open for the usual miscommunication issues.

Uranus entered Aries on March 11th, one day after the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan (from Pisces = shocks from the sea).  Earthquakes are impossible to predict, but planets in Aries always indicate that a new chapter in our lives has begun, sometimes with shocks and trauma (Uranus) but always with NEW energy.  We can hope that there won't be any more devastating news.

On April 2nd, Mars will enter Aries and be conjunct Uranus, already in Aries.  The energizing and changing times that I mentioned in the Winter Report will have begun.

From March 20th we have had the Sun in Aries too, and on April 3rd, the NEW MOON just explodes the Aries theme for us all.  On that day we will have SIX planets in Aries and that is very rare. (Yes I know the Sun and Moon aren't planets.  We just refer to them as such!)

Aries want things NOW - as fast as possible - and be quick about it!  AND I want what I want - and don't ask me to think about someone else. You will need all your patience with people as a result of this.  Aries has its good side - and it has a less attractive side.

We've been dragged through many things this past 18 months, but the ENERGY and DYNAMISM of this time period will be unmistakable.  It all started with Jupiter entering Aries on January 23rd and the world is a different place already.

Mars is connected with Aries and Mars / Aries is all about business,  sports, athletes and physical fitness, guns, munitions and the military, and the next pioneering initiatives.  As a result, I don't expect the Middle East to calm down for a while just yet, and who knows what will be happening in professional sport leagues, but MAJOR changes are afoot.

Report for Spring 2011 continued...

Mars will be in Aries until May 11th, and men especially will be feeling like their old selves again.  I don't recommend non climbers book a trip to climb Mount Everest!

On April 4th, the planet Neptune moves from Aquarius (technology) into the sign of Pisces.  Our love of, and fascination with technology is about to diminish as this great change of signs signals a major change in our sense of the future.

Neptune has one more time in Aquarius from August 2011, until February of 2012, but after that our focus on technology will begin  to fade from many perspectives.

Pisces wants protection for workers in every company, and union rights, and pension plans getting saved, and benefits packages getting financed, and as Neptune moves through Pisces there will be growing fears about all of these programs being completely eliminated or downsized due to our mounting collective debt.

For most of us Neptune in Pisces will be a time of a greater spiritual focus and a time to listen quietly to our own guidance.    Neptune will be in Pisces part of 2011, and also from February of 2012, until the year 2025.

On April 22nd, Saturn once again has its say - and it will try to slow everything down, and rain all over the parade.  Quite the astrological contrast we will have going on!

It takes until June 3rd, for Saturn to cease being as powerful as it has been since February 2011.  Saturn slows things down - and Aries want everything to go faster - so the battle over getting our economic recovery moving will be an interesting show to watch.

On April 22, Mercury goes Direct, so people will be listening more closely once again.

On April 30th, Mars will conjunct Jupiter in Aries, and while this will lift our spirits as Spring emerges, over-confidence about many things could be an epidemic by then.  Men especially will need to be careful about over-doing just about everything.

May will be a more solid time period.  The first two weeks of May will see stability returning to many aspects of our lives with more Earth signs in evidence.

In early May, women will be feeling confident and energetic, and be feeling that the tough winter time has receded.  I am hopeful that this Spring will be a positive time for all of us.

On June 3rd, many people will want to have a vacation planned, as Neptune turns retrograde in Pisces.  If you can't take a week or two off, do try and have some kind of a break from your usual routine.

On June 4th, Jupiter enters Taurus, adding more stability to many situations.  This is an indication of more profitable times ahead for business.

On June 12th, Saturn turns Direct in Libra, and so relationships will be mostly back on track.  So will many mainstream careers as employers will be hiring more people and wanting to commit more energy to their business plans.

I can't promise you that everything will be completely back on track by this summer, but at least this Spring will be memorable!

As we approach the end of June, there will be a four sided stressful Cardinal Grand Cross of Saturn, Pluto, Uranus and the Sun in the sky, and so the re-building of the world will have begun. Heading into summer time this year the strong themes will be construction, re-building, infrastructure, power struggles with government and their workers, water supplies, families, atomic energy and the risks with it, reducing debts, smaller government, innovation, and the protection of homes, and that is just the beginning!

Its a great Spring to get back into shape if you need to, and to try something new and exciting.  Enjoy all this new energy while it lasts.

Do have a vacation in early June if you can get one!
