Trend Report for Fall 2011
The last week of September brings Mars, as seen from the Sun, into alignment with Uranus and Pluto, and so men will be feeling challenged in the last week of September. They will be bearing the brunt of many challenges during the Fall of 2011, and this is just the beginning of many 'Mars' themes happening until we reach Christmas. This specific combo theme will last for men until the middle of October. So now men will need to be changing and improving their lifestyles and the way they heal and empower themselves.
As October gets rolling there will be a strong emphasis on technology, communications, information, and many opportunities for your message to get delivered. This is quite strong with an Air signs emphasis going on. This continues throughout October and so it continues to be a great time for parties, social events, public relations, and sales. It's a good time to contact people!
From the middle of October until November 7, men are focused on their goals and there will be LOTS of opportunities for men and women to accomplish things at this time. Most companies will have settled into 'the new normal' by this point, and will be focused upon achieving their sales targets.
From the last week of October, and throughout November, in their workplaces, men will be 'nose to the grindstone'. There will be deadlines and tons of work to be done, and not much fun to be had in the male workplace. As a man, if you feel depressed at this time, do something to alleviate it, and remember you could be just picking this up from other depressed men around you.
The first week of November has a powerful geo Mars in Leo (trine to the Galactic Center), bringing more energy to our lifestyles, and we'll all be having fun in our homes, getting exercise, enjoying the parties and sports and being entertained. Normally mature adults will be feeling like wild and crazy kids in their homes for a week!
In the middle of November one major theme evident is a 'detour where we are headed' issue. Companies bucking the 'Great Contraction' theme I talked about in my Summer Report will be getting the message loud and clear. The economy will still be getting detoured, for lots of good reasons, as the new reality and new options present solutions.
On November 12, the planet Mars moves into the sign of Virgo, and Virgo is almost OBSESSED with healthy food, supplements, vitamins, and "what's wrong with my diet?" Mars will now be in Virgo until early July of 2012, which is a LONG time for Mars to be anywhere. We'll all be eating better with this eight month transit going on.
On November 19, 2011, the planets move into a 'Locomotive Pattern' with Mars leading the way. Translated, this means that the economy will be getting really energized in a major way because the momentum of a Locomotive builds in any direction that you'd like it to go. This allows for the accomplishment of many things, and the momentum will really ramp up for weeks into December. (I myself was born with a Locomotive Pattern in my chart, led by entrepreneurial Uranus.)
On November 24, Mercury turns retrograde until December 14th. Be prepared to listen more, as most people won't be listening well, and that will make what comes next even more difficult!
Almost all of December brings a multiple direction quandary with it. Which of the many options in front of us is the correct one? MAJOR arguments about it all are likely, and so everyone should make their plans before December, or be prepared to get scattered to the four winds!
On December 10, Uranus turns Direct at zero degrees of Aries. This will add even more of a Mars quality to the Fall, as Mars is associated with Aries. The good news is that Uranus turning direction, brings more acceleration to some parts of the economy, and it becomes a very entrepreneurial and exciting time for us all. This represents a 'breakthrough with the new and the innovative' time period.
Throughout December, Saturn will be stronger than normal as it aspects the Galactic Center. So a colder, wetter, snowier, icy December is likely in store for us, I will bet. This will peak on December 14, 2011, and lasts into the middle of January.
This could be a colder and wetter than normal December and January, as it was last Spring when Saturn was the focus of the astrological planetary formations in the sky. There will be less Saturn coming in the remaining winter months.
The combination of both a stronger Uranus (speed up the economy) and a stronger Saturn (a slow down of the economy), makes economic forecasting very tricky this Fall.
Market watchers have told me there has been such economic and market manipulation going on it is almost impossible to describe what will come next with the economy. What I do know, as seen through the eyes of an astrologer, is that the economic volatility isn't over!

Trend Report for Fall 2011
The last week of September 2011, has a Libra focus to it, with a lot of planets in that sign, and so it is a good time for social events, parties, public relations, time with friends, and sales. Contact people you haven't talked to in a while!
In part of last year, and from the Spring of 2011, we have had Uranus moving to a close square to Pluto (close to 90 degrees). The last time these two were at 90 degrees to each other, it was the middle of the 1930's, in the midst of the Great Depression. At the time of the French Revolution, they were 180 degrees apart, in what astrologers call an opposition.
URANUS brings shocks, protests, worker strikes, acceleration, breakthroughs, new conditions, revolutions, and entrepreneurs with great ideas.
PLUTO brings alienation, more debt, criminals, the underworld and the people who live in it, power struggles, atomic energy issues, healing, transformation and therapy. And Pluto is the original "let's fix what is broken" planet. All of the Pluto issues get accelerated when Uranus is around. This unsettled interaction of themes will last until early in 2016.
When these two planets were conjunct in the mid-1960's, beginning a new cycle of their combined themes, it set that decade apart as a time of major change. Back then we saw street protests, the birth of organic farming, new organic foods, health food stores, ecology studies and environmentalism, women's issues front and center, new mass movements, new revolutionary politics, and much more.
The decade of the 1960's set the benchmark for an exciting decade with great upheavals and many breakthroughs, and now these two planets are having a major conversation again for five years. Both of these planets are not focused on any kind of mainstream conservative agenda, and so our local and national politics around the world are just beginning to change in both radical and unexpected ways.
Shades of the 1930's and the 1960's are back all over the world all the way through the first half of this decade.
When another planet combines with these two, then a sudden, shocking and sometimes wonderful result can be triggered, and so for the next five years, we'll be seeing the new world emerging in hopefully some wonderful new ways.
From September 18, until September 22, 2011, as Venus enters Libra and connects with these two planets, women will be feeling the stress of the sudden and the unexpected. Hopefully it won't be too shocking for every woman that you know, but women everywhere will all have unexpected news as the summer time winds down. Women will need to be changing something about the way they empower and heal themselves.
